Jobi™ Pottery – Handmade in Truro

~ Founded 1953 ~

The Jobi Story

Jobi™ Pottery is a Truro cottage industry proudly celebrating our 69th year on Cape Cod.

Original owners, Joe Colliano and Bill Hastings (Jo-bi) began their business in a little hot dog stand near the Cape Cod Highland Lighthouse in 1953. Today, owner/designer Susan Kurtzman still uses the same methods and original mid-century casting molds to create Jobi Pottery by hand in her Truro studio.

The retro and mid-century look of our pottery shapes and designs can be traced back to Cape Cod-inspired originals, but we’ve also added new colors and motifs to complement the line we create.
