Warren Green

Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, Warren F. Green spent his professional career as a dentist and orthodontist in the Boston area, working for eleven years at Massachusetts General Hospital, then going into private practice, while teaching part-time twenty-five years at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

But Fine Art has always been his passion. He made his first oil painting at age eleven, and for the past twenty years -supported by family, friends and patrons-he has studied and his work has evolved. Originally inspired by sculptures and pastels, he found preference for oil and has been painting in oil ever since.

He has studied at the Montseurrat College of Visual Art, the Decordova Museum School, The Cape Cod School of Art, The Provincetown Fine Arts Workshop, and the Museum School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Warren’s main studio is in Truro. He spends winters in Northern California, allowing him to paint outdoors year round.
